As you likely know, COVID-19 continues to impact our community. Los Angeles County has extended the stay at home order through May 15 and Tichenor Clinic remains closed. However, we know how many families rely on us for care. To protect the health and safety of our clients and staff,we have decided to discontinue in-person visits with the exception of urgent cases (i.e. post-operative care) and offer video-based services (tele-intervention/tele-therapy) until May 15. We are deeply grateful to the supporters of our Emergency Fund who are helping to make this possible.
Therapists will be available by appointment to answer questions, provide suggestions for activities for home, and offer helpful resources and information. Families can use a smartphone, mobile device, or computer for this virtual connection and will have access to interpreters as needed. To schedule video-based services, please call us at 562-597-3696.
Please be assured that Tichenor Clinic is actively monitoring the COVID-19 outbreak. We are in contact with the Long Beach Public Health departments and continue to closely follow guidance from the Centers for Disease Control.
The individuals and families we serve and Tichenor supporters are in our minds and hearts. Thank you for your continued patience and support!
