earned a degree in Political Science at Occidental College where he chaired the County of Los Angeles Commission on Youth, and was appointed by the Long Beach Mayor to the Strategic Planning commission. Marc received his Juris Doctorate from Southwestern University and a Certificate in Human Rights in Strasbourg, France. He taught law school and served as assistant dean as he began to build a law practice in Long Beach, now in its 38th year, devoted exclusively to personal injury cases. He was President of the Long Beach Bar Association in 2007 and was named Attorney of the Year in 2012. He has served as President of the Joseph Ball, Clarence Hunt Inn of Court (mentoring young attorneys). This organization has been recognized at the US supreme Court by Associate Justices for excellence (Platinum Status) for several years. Marc was married in Switzerland to Dr. Petra Wilder-Smith, an internationally recognized scientist in the field of lasers in medicine and cancer treatment. With their son and daughter, they travel to the Swiss Alps most summers and enjoy hiking and life in the picturesque mountain villages.
