Practice reading directions and using microwave, potholders, scissors, & napkins

            Cleaning: Wipe off tables or counters.

Food: 1 Bag of Microwave Popcorn

Week 2    January 28th

Kitchen Safety: Review cooking safety rules.

            Hygiene: Wash hands & use a napkin.

Cooking: Microwave Pizzas

Practice reading directions and using a microwave, scissors, knife, cutting boardpotholder, microwave safe plate, and napkin.

Cleaning: Wash dishes. Clean counters.

Week 3     February 4th

Cooking:  Microwave Cake

Practice using a recipe, microwave, potholders, microwave safe mugs, 1/4 cup, 1 tablespoon, 1/4 teaspoon, 1/8 teaspoon, scissors, fork, spoon, and napkin.

Cleaning: Wash dishes. Clean counters. Sweep floors. 

Food: Flour, White Sugar, Unsweetened cocoa powder, Baking soda, Milk, Canola Oil, Vanilla Extract, Whip Cream, Berries

Practice using a recipe, microwave, microwave safe mug, 1/8 teaspoon, ½ cup measuring cup, aluminum foil, scissors, quart size Ziploc bags, plastic cutting board mat, cookie cutters, spatula, oven, timer, potholders, butter knife, plate, and napkin.

Cleaning: Wash dishes. Clean counters. Sweep floors. 

Food: Butter, Flour, Baking Soda, Salt, Sugar, Vanilla Frosting, Aluminum foil, Ziploc bags

Practice cutting uncooked chicken breasts with a fork and knife on a cutting board and using a large frying pan with lid, potholder, stove top, spatula, tongs, trivet, cheese grater, and plate.

Practice using a cutting board, bread knife, can opener, cheese grater, grip pad, oven, potholder, cookie sheet, aluminum foil, 1 Cup, ½ Cup, ¼ Cup, timer, butter knife, spoon, fork, plate, and napkin.

Cleaning: Wash dishes. Clean counters. Sweep floors. Use washing machine. 

Food: French Bread, Pizza Sauce, Mozzarella Cheese, Sliced Meat, Pizza Toppings (such as olives, basil, pineapple, peperoni, etc).
